Corrections and factual disputes

This is the message we most want to receive. If a number on our site does not match its source, a study has been superseded, a guideline has changed, or we have read a paper wrong, write to us with the page URL and the source you are working from. We verify against the original document and, when we are wrong, we correct the page and date the change rather than quietly editing it. Please put Correction in the subject line so it is not missed.

Editorial questions and suggestions

Tell us what you could not find an honest answer to. Requests from readers are a genuine input into what we cover next, particularly when an existing article answered part of your question but stopped short. We cannot promise to cover every topic, and we will not cover one where the evidence is too thin to say anything useful.

What we cannot answer

We cannot give individual medical advice. That means we are unable to tell you whether a supplement is right for you, interpret your lab results or symptoms, comment on your medications, suggest a dose, or advise on whether to start or stop a treatment. We are writers and researchers, not clinicians, and answering those questions without knowing your history would be both unhelpful and unsafe.

If your concern is urgent, do not email us. Contact your doctor or your local emergency number.

Privacy and data requests

To ask what data we hold about you, request deletion, or exercise any other right under applicable privacy law, email the address above with Privacy request in the subject line. What we collect and why is set out in our privacy notice and cookie policy.

Accessibility

If any page is hard to use with a screen reader, keyboard, or magnification, tell us which page and what broke. Accessibility problems are treated as defects, not feature requests. See our accessibility statement.

Partnerships, advertising and press

Email us with Partnership in the subject line and a clear description of what you are proposing. Two things to know before you write: we do not publish sponsored posts presented as editorial, and we do not accept payment in exchange for a positive conclusion, a rating, or the removal of a caveat. Commercial relationships that do exist are disclosed on the page, as described in our affiliate disclosure.

Response times

Health Atlas is a small independent publisher. We aim to reply to corrections and privacy requests within a few business days. General questions and partnership proposals may take longer, and we do not reply to every message.
